Vinit is the CEO and Co-Founder of MerQube, Inc. MerQube aims to disrupt the indexing space by applying the unique expertise of the founding team in building large-scale and highly available systems, and in creating, operating, and commercializing indices. 

Prior to MerQube, Vinit was the Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Volatility Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices, focusing on alternative beta strategies including factor-based indices, dividends and volatility, as well as quantitative, thematic, and asset-allocation strategies. In that role, Vinit worked to bring new ideas to market in those areas. He was also a member of the ESG steering committee and led the ESG product management team.

Prior to S&P Dow Jones Indices, Vinit worked in Engineering and Product Management at Oracle and in Business and Corporate Strategy at S&P Global.
