In TABB Group’s 11th annual Institutional Equity Trading (IET) study, we interviewed heads of trading at 92 buy-side firms. This study marks the first year we combined the timing of our outreach both to traditional asset managers and to hedge fund managers. The results will be published in a series of three reports. The first part covers buy-side firms’ top initiatives, execution channel allocation and commissions (wallet, rates, CSAs, broker vote and unbundling). In part 2 of TABB Group’s IET report, we will delve into coverage models, valued products and services, and broker rankings. Part 3 will cover buy-side participants’ insight into execution quality and market structure.
