Catriona leads Franklin Templeton’s legal response to new and existing product developments, partnering with the business to deliver investment solutions for the firm’s clients from design stage to ongoing maintenance. She is an expert in retail fund products, as well as taking a leading role in the firm’s implementation in the UK and internationally of digital asset and blockchain based investment solutions. She is passionate about developing solutions which democratise assets for retail clients, reach new investors and provide better investment solutions which carry forward crucial investor protections and regulatory standards into a brave new digital world.

Catriona has a macro regulatory view of product regulation. She started her career with Eversheds Sutherland in London and relocated to Hong Kong, helping to set up the firm’s funds practice in the region, before returning to London. She has advised on regulatory projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, and across APAC as well as in the EU, United States and UK.

She is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion and spent several years serving as a governor of a local state primary school.
