For 25+ years, Doug has focused on technology and innovation in fintech and financial services, including leading the development, growth, and scaling of new and existing businesses within fintechs and global financial institutions. Prior to being the CBO, Doug was the COO of Protego and established the initial infrastructure, human resources, product management, and sales and marketing. As part of the executive team, he helped secure the Charter from the State of Washington, the Conditional Charter from the OCC, and all early stage funding. 

 

Prior to his current role, Doug was the Head of Data as a Service for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, leading the development and execution of this new business, and the head of product management and strategy for the North American Asset Servicing businesses. Before BNY Mellon, Doug worked at State Street Corporation as Senior Managing Director, Global Markets. While at State Street, he scaled the Global Link business, which comprised the electronic trading suite of products. Prior to State Street, Doug held a variety of senior management positions, most recently as Executive Vice President Global Accounts, at Reuters. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Husson University, with additional training at the University of Chicago, University of Michigan, and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. He holds active Series 7, 24, and 63 FINRA licenses.
