Sutton currently serves as the Director of Advanced Markets at Aspida, bringing over 23 years of experience in annuity and retirement solutions across sales, operations, marketing, and product management. He plays a key role in designing and launching innovative, competitive annuity products, while closely monitoring market trends and macroeconomic data to guide strategic direction.

Prior to his current position, Mr. White served as Head of Annuity Product and Strategy at Life Innovators, a consulting firm based in Charlotte, NC. In that role, he advised both institutional and private equity-backed clients on market entry, product development, and go-to-market strategies. 

 

His earlier roles include Vice President of Fixed and Indexed Product Management at Jackson National, where he led the development of their RILA product and helped grow Fixed and Index Linked annuity sales from $300M to nearly $4B. He also held leadership roles at Brighthouse Financial (formerly MetLife) and SunTrust Private Wealth Management, overseeing product development and managing multi-billion-dollar annuity platforms.

Sutton began his career as a Retirement Consultant with Wachovia/Wells Fargo Advisors in 2002. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses, Life/Health and LTC licenses, and is a Certified Retirement Counselor.
