I am an experienced, highly credible & adaptable compliance professional. I have over a decade of regulatory experience, with a proven track record of building high performing teams and leading path breaking tactical and strategic responses to the most complex and important challenges being tackled by the FCA. I am currently leading significant aspects of FCA’s work on digital assets and markets which have the potential to disrupt - and shape - the future of financial services.

I have strong technical expertise in financial crime / AML, crypto & digital assets, DLT, consumer investments, retail lending, cyber resilience & fintech, supported by extensive supervisory experience. I have direct experience of assessing commercial and regulatory aspects of distribution, promotion, and risk mitigation, with supporting expertise in governance, MI, recruitment, retention, communications, engagement and strategic problem solving across numerous retail FS sectors. I also have extensive experience of overseeing teams delivering outcomes testing, capability /F&P assessment, enforcement, remediation / redress & s.166 skilled person reviews.

Although technically strong - & adaptable - my real passion is for developing colleagues and helping them to achieve their full potential in the workplace. I am a qualified coach with particular interests in NLP, fostering innovation & diversity, and applying strengths based leadership models.
